Our client is a fast growing international media production company looking to grow its US client base. They focus on production work for advertising on high-tech new platforms such as Virtual Reality, 360 video, and CGI services. This sales rep will be tasked with growing a national territory, bringing in deals that range anywhere between 2k and 100k per project. Aside from the New York market this is a completely uncontested territory, in an emerging market, so there is plenty of business for the taking. Since many deals will be completed in person, with support from senior leadership, you will be travelling at least 50% of the time.
The right candidate for this job will be someone who is passionate about VR, 360 video, new technologies. It will take someone who can bring a lot of charisma and enthusiasm to the job to be successful, and you will need to stay up to date on new industry trends and innovations. This is an exciting role with a global company on the cutting edge of new media technologies, based out of a downtown Portland office.
- Bachelors Degree required
- 1-3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Tech or agency experience preferred
- Passionate about new technologies, VR, 360 video, etc
- Intelligent, can learn and manage a long sales cycle (1-6 month sales cycle)
- $40-50k base salary plus commissions; expect to make $60-70k year one
- Total compensation year two $70-90k+
