Our client is an exciting young software-as-a-service start-up that has raised over $10 million in their most recent round of funding. They are looking to build a Sales Development team here in Portland as part of their growth push. Their network security software is completely scalable- providing solutions to companies ranging from mom and pop shops to large enterprises.
This role is heavy on prospecting through outbound cold calls and emails, responding to inbound leads, and securing appointments for Account Managers to run demos. As the company grows there will be opportunities to move up into more senior sales and leadership positions.
While your direct manager, in addition to other SDRs, will be located in Portland there is no local office. This is a remote position, which means you are able to work autonomously and to set your own schedule.
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 0 to 2 year of outbound sales experience
- Tech savvy, motivated, and capable of working autonomously in a remote setting
- $30-35k base salary plus commissions; expect to make $560-70k year one
- Year two expected income is $80-90k+
