Our client is a Northwest leader in the corporate security field. They are looking for a talented sales representative to start a new team. In this role you will be selling commercial security systems (video surveillance, key-less entry, fire detection, etc.) into local businesses. This role is focused on new business development, but it isn’t a heavy volume role. They are looking for someone who can be strategic in finding qualified leads, not someone who will blindly call into businesses. This is a straightforward sales cycle, lasting around 2-4 weeks.
This company is focused on doing what’s right, and as a result they are respected by local law enforcement and have excellent client retention. This is a chance to be the first rep on a new team and help grow the Portland territory. There will be opportunities for specialized sales roles or leadership positions as the team grows.
- Bachelors Degree or military experience preferred
- Previous law enforcement is a plus
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- $36k salary plus commission; expect to make $60k-65k your first year
