Our client is a boutique company in a unique food industry niche. They are looking for a sales representative primarily to take over an existing book of business, but also to do some prospecting for new business. This company is a key intermediary, connecting food producers, manufacturers, and distributors with end users. Along with a standard product catalog they also develop custom solutions for clients.
This role is mostly an inside sales position, but there will be occasional client visits and several trade shows. Expect up to 20% travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong phone presence and great client management skills.
- Degree preferred, but not required
- 5-10 years of relevant sales experience
- Food and Beverage industry experience required
- $50-60k base salary plus commission
- Expect to make $80k-100k in your first year
