Our client is an exciting young software start-up that has raised over $10 million in their most recent round of funding. They are looking to grow their Sales Development team here in Portland as part of their push to go public in the near future. The software platform is completely scalable- providing solutions to companies ranging from mom and pop shops to large enterprises.
This role is heavy on prospecting, but won’t be on your own finding leads. The sales leadership has put a lot of effort into providing resources and tools to generate leads. You’ll be able to use several software platforms to build targeted lead lists, reach out to them via email, and then engage the interested prospective clients. There will be some cold calling, but the majority of the leads come from email campaigns and marketing.
This company has a downtown office, an excellent culture, and plenty of room for advancement. Many reps are promoted into Account Executives, but there are also opportunities to be job-fitted into other roles as the company grows.
- Bachelors Degree Required
- 1 to 2 year sales experience
- Tech savvy
- $30k base salary plus commissions; expect to make $55-70k
- Year two expected income is $70k+
