A leader in vibratory equipment manufacturing, our client is looking for a Sales Engineer to manage a 40+ year client base and help build new business. A large portion of their business comes from custom equipment, so a consultative approach will be essential. The sales process involves application selling, and designing the machine around their application. The job includes trade shows, calls, networking, and working referral networks.
This role comes with a great opportunity for advancement. The company’s goal is to have this role develop into a sales management position, with you moving into the executive team once you’ve proven yourself. There will be training to get you started, and some support from admin and engineering, but the best candidate will have an intrinsic motivation to learn the product and business.
- Mechanical Engineering degree highly preferred
- 2+ years B2B sales experience
- Consultative sales approach
- $50k-80k base salary (dependent on experience) plus bonus
